WHY WE MADE IT //
Trail shoes have become synonymous with big and bulky but it doesn’t have to be that way! Meet the Runventure 2: a trail shoe that pairs the lightweight flexibility of a road shoe with enough ruggedness and protection for the trail.
We combined a zero-drop platform with a relaxed heel (to maximize natural movement) and paired it with the aggressive tread and forefoot rockplate of the Terraventure outsole. Then we took the performance of the shoe one step further by building in an S-hook gaiter system to keep pesky debris and dirt from entering the shoe collar.
The Runventure 2 appeals to ultra and trail runners, zero-drop fanatics, campers, through hikers and anyone who wants a lighter, more natural solution for off-road adventures.
Fans of the original Runventure will enjoy even better traction and durability, a thicker rubber lugged outsole with forefoot rock plate, upgraded mesh, and a more refined fit.

KEY FEATURES //
Gaiter Attachment: our stretch nylon gaiters (sold separately) help keep out dirt and debris, remaining secure on the shoe thanks to the unique S-hook, 3-point fastening system. At 0.6 ounces (16g), these gaiters are lightweight and dry quickly.
Collapsible Heel: the Runventure 2 is one of the only lightweight trail-running shoes available with a relaxed elastane heel construction and zero-drop platform. The unstructured heel gives your ankle the freedom to enjoy a wider range of motion for a more natural experience, which can be especially advantageous on technical, rugged terrain. It also allows the shoes to pack flat – which is key when you need to travel light.
