REI Co-op has announced the Topo Athletic Trailventure as a new
“We’ve been helping people get outside and find great gear since 1938. Last fall, we introduced yet another way for our community to learn about best-in-class equipment and apparel with the REI Co-op Editors’ Choice Awards,” said Michelle Flandreau, managing editor at REI. “This spring, we’re excited to recognize our latest round of award winners—including the Topo Athletic Trailventure. The agility, comfort and breathability of the Trailventure make it a great choice for hikers looking to go fast and light in the backcountry.”
“REI Co-op has played an integral role in educating savvy consumers about quality products that will help them get the most from their time in the outdoors,” said Tony Post, founder and CEO of Topo Athletic. “We humbly accept the REI Co-op Editors’ Choice Award for the Topo Trailventure and are honored to be a standout among many other great hiking footwear offerings.”
The Trailventure was a top performer among other products in the category in a head-to-head round-robin test. Performance input was provided by testers composed of REI employees and co-op members across the nation. Product usability and features were tested in a variety of climate, terrain and weather conditions.
The full review of the Trailventure can be found in REI Co-op’s roundup of the Best Hiking Boots of 2021. The current list of Editors’ Choice winners and more information about the selection process can be accessed here.
